The Biblical Woman Statement

Southwestern Seminary’s women’s programs blog released a statement today defining their position on biblical womanhood.

According to the site, “The Biblical Woman Statement is a positive value statement about the 12 aspects of womanhood that impact us most. From family and gender to ministry and influence, from our responsibility to those we love most, to our responsibility to women across the globe, this statement explains what we really believe about the worth, significance, and opportunities of women.”

“We know there’s no such thing as ‘cookie-cutter’ biblical womanhood. We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we do believe our convictions reflect the guidelines God has given us in His Word. And it’s so much bigger than the few, controversial issues that have unfortunately surrounded it!”
